Elite Repair Protein

The physical demands of cross fit increases nutritional requirements ten fold. When you train at a high intensity, the body uses nutrients from the diet and the body’s own, glycogen, amino acids and mineral reserves to fuel the workload. If an athlete is not fuelling correctly, performance levels can diminish, and the risk of injury increases.

A cross fit athletes protein requirements are higher than average. We recommend an intake of 2 grams per kg of body weight. Supplementing 1 to 2 raw sport elite shakes consistently will help meet protein requirements and will ensure you recover optimally to continue training at the same intensity.

If magnesium levels are depleted, the body switches to anaerobic metabolism, resulting in increased lactic acid build up and associated muscle soreness.
